Spring is here and that means I am about to purchase at least 87 new plants! And that also means I definitely need to buy new pots too, right? I am always looking for large flower pots that will last multiple seasons made out of something other than plastic. After years of planter/pot shopping I have come to the conclusion that BIG LOTS is the BEST place to buy affordable flower pots! Each one of the pots in the photo above were UNDER $20! I could not resist buying all 3! Okay I actually bought 4 and a 5th one at the next stop…
3 flower pots under $20 each!
faux woven basket pot – 10″ opening – 10″ height
This beautiful flower pot looks like a basket and it is a great neutral color. I plan to use it for a snake plant indoors or possibly on my covered porch. I love it! And only $16!
Tall Terra Cotta pot – 10″ diameter – 12″ height
I LOVE the color and design on this beautiful terra cotta pot. It would look soooo good with a cactus in it and maybe some white pebbles on top of the soil. I am really looking forward to filling this one! Oh and this one was also only $16! Tasteful and affordable!
small AQUA glazed pot – 6″ opening – 6.5″ height
When I am buying new pots, I am usually drawn to black, white, cream, or terra cotta but something about this pot just called my name as I walked by. I liked it so much that I committed to purchasing it even though it didn’t have a price tag on it. I put it in my cart and then the cashier had to call a manager for help. The manager ended up finding a twin hidden inside another pot on the shelf and to my surprise it was only $19. Winner winner!
a little bigger teal glazed pot – 8″ opening – 9.5″ tall
This next pot is the perfect companion to the teal one above. It was priced at $29 so not as much of a bargain but it still made its way into my cart. It is a little bit thicker and I just love the way these 2 look together.
